It’s been busy in the world’s smallest studio, aka MY studio…and now I can hardly move my butt! My body simply sends “I am exhausted!” signal…LOL.
When I work, I am constantly in the move, climbing up a chair, laying down on the floor, standing up, sitting down, moving furniture (oh the things you do to get great pictures!), changing lenses and cameras, changing backgrounds, styling hair and wardrobe, and oh..of course chasing my dog Simba (he is such a diva) just because he is always getting in the way. Yep, just another ordinary day at my office…smile. But an ordinary day that I love!
Most girls that I photography love Simba (he’d be so proud to know this…) and they often ask if they can have a picture with him. Today, when I asked him to lie down and pose with a model, I swear that he did it like a pro! He has done this many times, so he now acts like he is the king of Divas and Dreams. Oh well, I guess he is :-)
New Release Date for My First Mini Magazine: The Inside Scoop
It will be delivered directly to your inbox on March 4. Don’t miss out!
I received more than 300 emails in my mailbox. OMG, it has been such a pleasure reading all your stories, kind words, ideas, worries, and questions. I spent almost the whole night reading them and I just could not sleep because all of the excitement. I was like a 6 years old Christina waiting for Christmas to arrive....no kidding!
Every email touched my heart in ways I cannot express. I am honored that many of you trust me and share your struggles and worries about life, photography, business, and being a beginner. I will make sure I cover all your questions as we move on from issue to issue.
I have already lined up some exciting interviews because this is a wish from many of you. Therefore, I need more time to finish everything and decided to move the release day to March 4.
Because of all the emails I received, I could not find the time (as much as I wanted to) to give everyone a personal answer. Rest assured that I have read every word you wrote and that I´ll do my best to cover your wishes in the magazine.
Thanks again for everything!
xoxo, Christina

I just want to say that I adore this image! I just love it!!!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about the exhaustion! Sometimes I'm inside with my camera but, quite often, I'm outside. Between the exertion to get the shot and the fresh air, I usually come back exhausted, hungry but very happy and fulfilled (even when I don't get anything that I particularly like. ;)) So, I started Pilates, last year. Just because I need to be toned to survive photography! =D
btw, my comment, up above, was shared 'tongue in cheek' and laughing all the way. ;) =]
ReplyDeleteI love the exhausted look on Simba's face - it's obviously tough being a super model. Really looking forward to the magazine!
ReplyDeleteHi Katy
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing. Yes I guess we spend a lot of energy both with our minds, because we need to think and focus and also with our body, as we move all the time. The good thing is, as you say; it´s good for us and we love it. I love pilates and yoga too - I did it a lot in the past. Now I just started to run and train with kettlebell´s - it´s true it´s easier to keep going if your stong and in shape. and...I´m working on getting there..lol... I have to, because I have a really bad back and exercise is the only thing that helps.
Hugs/ Christina
Thanks Barbara - he is getting older, almost 8 years, so he is a bit sleepy during the afternoon :-)

Well, then, very best wishes with it all and the wind at your back! =]
